Irish nanocoatings company Kastus has received €1.5m investment, led by Atlantic Bridge University Fund. The company develops patented and patent pending photocatalytic (indoor light activated), anti-microbial surface treatments and additives. The coatings are used to bacteria, fungi and antibiotic-resistant superbugs including MRSA and E. coli in medical facilities. The company plans to launch new products
